grader operator
Wolf Lake Logging Ltd. is looking for an experienced and reliable *Grader Operator* to join our team.
Position Responsibilities
- Operate a motor grader safely and efficiently on logging roads and worksites
- Perform road construction, maintenance, grading, ditching and finishing work
- Maintain proper road grades, drainage and safe driving surfaces
- Complete pre-trip and daily equipment inspections
- Identify and report equipment issues or maintenance requirements
- Follow all company and site safety procedures
- Work cooperatively with supervisors, equipment operators and other crew members
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Perform other duties related to road construction and maintenance as required
Qualifications & Experience
- Previous experience operating a motor grader in a logging or road construction environment
- Experience with logging road construction and maintenance is an asset
- Valid driver's licence
- Strong understanding of equipment and workplace safety
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
Compensation
- *$40.71 per hour*
