Job Vacancy: Welding Operator Location: Maasvlakte/ Roermond, Netherlands Employer: SIF Contract Duration: Long-term Start Date: To be agreed Job Description Do you want to work as a Welding Operator at a leading company in the steel industry? Or are you a beginner with interest in the trade and willing to learn? SIF in Maasvlakte is looking for motivated operators with a background or ambition in machine-assisted welding. Experience with welding processes 121, 135, 136, or 138 is a plus. Responsibilities

• Follow welding procedures and safety regulations
• Read technical drawings and execute work instructions
• Inspect welding equipment for proper functioning
• Set up welding machines and perform welding according to applicable procedures
• Check materials for damage and quantity
• Use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and follow safety measures
• Coordinate with the Hall Coordinator and Welding Process Specialist
• Record work activities on route cards
• Use hand tools, measuring instruments, and lifting equipment
• Remove welding residues using brushes and grinders
• Repair welding defects according to established procedures
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment

Requirements

• VCA Basic certificate (in Dutch or English) – mandatory
• Welding diploma NIL Level 3 MIG/MAG type 121 (or equivalent)
• Driving license B
• Language proficiency: minimum B1 in Dutch or English
• At least 1 year of relevant work experience

What We Offer Salary: €3,000 - €3,500 gross per month, starting at €18.52 per hour Allowances:

• 28% for afternoon shifts
• 35% for night shifts
• 75% for overtime and Saturdays
• 100% for Sundays
