Garages and Parking Manager (Income)
Based in London, hybrid working Inside IR35 Length: 3 months initially, likely 6
This is a key role with a strong focus on maximising income, robust account management and arrears recovery, while also ensuring the effective use and management of garages and parking across housing estates.
The successful candidate will be responsible for driving service improvement, strengthening income collection and performance management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the management and delivery of the Housing Department’s strategy for garages and parking across housing estates
- Manage and develop the Garages and Parking team, ensuring high standards of service delivery and performance
- Maximise income through effective account management, income collection and arrears recovery
- Develop and embed a strong performance management and continuous improvement culture across garages and parking services
- Monitor income, arrears, occupancy and service performance, identifying opportunities to improve financial performance
- Drive the promotion and increased use of garages, maximising occupancy and income generation
- Lead and progress the garage refurbishment programme, ensuring delivery against agreed priorities and timescales
- Oversee the implementation of Traffic Management Orders (TMOs) on Housing Estates
Key Requirements:
- Experience managing housing income, arrears, rent accounts or other property-related income streams
- Experience of working within a local authority or social housing environment
- Strong account management and income recovery experience
- Experience of maximising income through improved occupancy, collection and account management
- An understanding of Traffic Management Orders
