Responsibilities:

Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and people initiatives. Manage end-to-end recruitment, selection, onboarding, and employee documentation. Manage employee relations, disciplinary matters, grievances, and workplace concerns. Drive performance management, appraisal, and employee development processes. Manage attendance, leave, shifts, and workforce planning. Prepare and coordinate accurate payroll inputs and maintain employee records. Support employee engagement, retention, and culture-building initiatives. Ensure compliance with Nigerian labour laws and applicable statutory requirements. Maintain up-to-date personnel files and HR databases. Prepare regular HR reports and provide people-related insights to management. Identify training needs and coordinate learning and development initiatives. Promote a positive, professional, and service-oriented workplace culture.

Administrative Responsibilities:

Oversee the day-to-day administrative operations of the business. Ensure the office, staff areas, and operational facilities are properly maintained and functional. Manage office supplies, stationery, equipment, and inventory, ensuring adequate stock levels. Coordinate procurement of office and administrative supplies and liaise with vendors and service providers. Manage relationships with external vendors, contractors, maintenance providers, and other service partners. Coordinate facility maintenance, repairs, utilities, security, cleaning, and general workplace services. Monitor administrative expenses and support effective cost control. Maintain proper records of company assets and administrative resources. Coordinate company documentation, licenses, permits, renewals, and other administrative requirements. Support management with travel arrangements, accommodation, meetings, events, and other logistics when required. Develop and maintain administrative processes that improve efficiency and accountability. Ensure proper filing, documentation, and record-keeping of company administrative documents. Coordinate internal meetings, staff events, welfare activities, and other company engagements. Ensure that company premises maintain appropriate standards of cleanliness, safety, professionalism, and presentation. Work closely with department heads to resolve administrative and operational issues. Prepare periodic administrative reports and provide recommendations to management. Handle other administrative duties as assigned by management.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, Management, Industrial Relations, or a related field. 5–7 years of progressive HR and administrative experience, including experience in a managerial or supervisory capacity. Experience in hospitality, hotels, restaurants, leisure, or another service-driven environment is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of HR operations, employee relations, recruitment, and performance management. Demonstrated experience managing administrative operations, facilities, vendors, and office services. Good understanding of Nigerian employment and labour regulations. Excellent communication, interpersonal, negotiation, and problem-solving skills. Strong organisational and administrative abilities with excellent attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced hospitality environment. Strong leadership and people-management skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR/Admin systems. Professional HR certification such as CIPM is an advantage.
