Civil Inspector - JFK Airport

WHAT YOU'LL DO

As a Civil Inspector , you will support aviation and civil infrastructure projects at JFK Airport. This role involves inspecting construction activities, ensuring quality and safety compliance, coordinating with project teams, and maintaining accurate project documentation throughout all phases of construction.

Inspect construction work for quality, safety, and contract compliance.

Prepare daily reports, inspection documentation, and extra work records.

Review contractor payment applications and identify potential change orders.

Coordinate with Resident Engineers, contractors, and airport operations staff.

Perform quality assurance inspections and verify completed work.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

10+ years of construction inspection experience on civil infrastructure projects.

Ability to interpret plans, specifications, and contract documents.

Experience with contractor payments, documentation, and extra work.

Strong communication and organizational skills.

Experience with aviation or airfield construction projects preferred.

Valid driver's license.

Ability to obtain and maintain a SIDA badge.

Willingness to work nights and weekends as needed.

COMPENSATION

The anticipated compensation range for this position is $58-$68/hr . Final compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, education, certifications, skills, and work location. WHY CHOOSE US?
