Inbound Division Lead
Takealot.com, a leading South African online retailer, is looking for a highly talented Inbound Division Lead to join our team in Cape Town.

Purpose of the role: Managing a team of approximately several inbound assistants and ensure all deliverables of SLA's are achieved.
Your responsibilities will include:
Ensuring customer order dates are met through rigorous management of our Merchant delivery times and order fulfilment.
Ensuring customers are updated on late delivery timeously.
Root cause analysis of customer service failings within the category to drive process improvement.
Defining and managing clear standard operating procedures across the team
Manage Merchants against clear delivery SLAs and work to reducing through Merchants compliance & root cause analysis of delays.
Work with Merchant teams to ensure delivery performance is in line with agreed delivery SLAs for Merchants.
Ensure buying disciplines and effective order management are being adhered to within the category.
Managing the status of shipments in order to ensure smooth transition ino the correct facilities.
Reconciling all receiving discrepancies with DC, Merchant, and internal Accounts Payable team (incl. facilitating feedback to continuous improve process)
Manage the inbound team for your category including the personal relations, individual performance, deadlines, and expectations.

Qualifications:
4+ years process improvement / engineering / logistics experience.
Proven track record of managing teams.
Bachelor’s degree advantageous.
Valid Drivers License.
Competency in MS Office packages and/or Gsuite.
