IT Application Designer

Voor een klant in omgeving Mechelen zijn wij op zoek naar een IT Application Designer

De IT Application Designer draagt de verantwoordelijkheid voor het bewaken van een performant en geïntegreerd applicatielandschap

• Assist in defining and reviewing requirements for the application.
• Design the packaged software configuration and customization to meet the business process design and application requirements.
• Use the business process requirements to drive out application requirements and metrics.
• Design the custom application user interfaces, classes, and components.
• Develop a high-level entity relationship diagram to be used in technical design.
• Participate in transitioning the designs to the developers, and ensure a clear and complete understanding of the designs.

Required skills:

• Knowledge of the functionality of the application to be developed / provided by the selected packaged application.
• Knowledge of relational database concepts.
• Ability to transform customer requirements into a workable design at the functional and/or technical levels.
• Ability to translate functional requirements into technical terms relevant to the application / package application to coordinate and assist with the detailed technical design tasks.

Required profile:

• University degree.
• Minimum 3-6 years of relevant experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, both in Dutch as well as in English. Good verbal communication skills in French are desired.
• Able to communicate with different audiences (management, end-users, technical resources).
• Proactive attitude, result oriented, attention to detail, ability to persuade.
• Team player with can-do mentality.
