Job Summary

Seeking an IT Infrastructure Project Manager responsible for managing projects from inception to completion, ensuring quality, timelines, budget, risk management, and alignment with business objectives.

Mandatory Skill-set

  • Strong expertise in IT infrastructure project management and project cycle methodologies;
  • Hands-on knowledge and understanding of key infrastructure components and environments;
  • Strong experience in managing multiple infrastructure projects simultaneously;
  • Practical knowledge of virtualization, batch environments, and SAN technologies;
  • Experience across Network, Security, Storage, Database, Workplace, and Telecom projects;
  • Strong ability to identify, assess, anticipate, and mitigate project risks and issues;
  • Strong resource management and project team coordination capabilities;
  • Good experience in project budget tracking, forecasting, and stakeholder reporting;
  • Strong knowledge of MS Project and MS Office suite for project planning and reporting;
  • Strong stakeholder management, influencing, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.

Desired Skill-set

  • PMP or other relevant project management certification would be a plus;
  • High-level understanding of software development;
  • Experience working in banking environment.

Responsibilities

  • Clarify client requirements and translate business needs into structured requirement lists;
  • Define project deliverables, assumptions, risks, issues, and appropriate mitigation actions;
  • Anticipate compliance and regulatory requirements and communicate potential impacts to stakeholders;
  • Define, measure, and report project KPIs with the appropriate level of information;
  • Identify required resources and establish and coordinate project teams across different environments;
  • Report and escalate significant risks and issues to the Sponsor and local management;
  • Manage project changes, communicate impacts to the Sponsor, and obtain required approvals;
  • Track project budgets, actuals, and forecasts and provide regular updates to stakeholders;
  • Establish controls to ensure project deliverables meet validated requirements and manage handover to production teams;
  • Continuously improve project management processes, toolkits, and methodologies.
