HIS/RIS Application Support Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Support and troubleshoot HIS and RIS applications and related healthcare workflows.
• Understand HIS/RIS workflows including
• Analyze integration issues by tracking requests, responses, message queues, logs, interfaces, and database transactions.
• Write and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, views, triggers, and database objects.
• Work closely with software development, implementation, support, infrastructure, and customer teams to resolve complex production issues.

Required Technical Skills Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server

Database troubleshooting and data investigation

Good understanding of HL7 standards and healthcare integration

Experience with HIS and/or RIS systems

Experience troubleshooting production applications and integrations

Ability to analyze application, database, and integration logs

Healthcare Knowledge

• HIS – Hospital Information System
• RIS – Radiology Information System

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
• Previous experience in Healthcare IT is strongly preferred.
