Liquid Personnel are proud to be working with an independent fostering agency to recruit a passionate and experienced Supervising Social Worker to join their fostering team. This is a fantastic opportunity to support foster carers and contribute to high-quality placements that help children and young people thrive.

Your benefits as a Supervising Social Worker:

Salary between £35,000 – £45,000 (dependent on experience and qualifications)

Full-time role – 40 hours per week + on-call rota

As the Supervising Social Worker, you will:

Recruit, assess, and supervise foster carers to ensure safe, nurturing placements

Provide regular supervision and support visits to foster families

Contribute to annual reviews and ensure compliance with fostering standards

Deliver and support training including ‘Skills to Foster’

Attend professional meetings and support carers in care planning

Maintain accurate case recordings and ensure safeguarding procedures are followed

Promote the agency’s services and contribute to business development

Essential requirements of this Supervising Social Worker role:

Registration as a Social Worker with Social Work England

CQSW, Diploma in Social Work, or BA in Social Work

Experience working with children and families

Strong knowledge of fostering legislation, safeguarding, and care planning

Excellent communication, assessment, and organisational skills

Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
