AI Product Engineer
Accountabilities: The AI Product Engineer will take ownership of designing, building, and maintaining full-stack applications, automation workflows, and AI-enabled solutions. This role requires technical independence, strong execution skills, and the ability to create reliable systems that support business growth and operational efficiency.
Build and maintain full-stack web applications and mobile-friendly experiences, including React-based interfaces and supporting data systems.
Design, manage, and optimize Airtable databases, including schemas, automations, interfaces, and data quality processes.
Develop workflow automations using platforms such as n8n and Zapier to connect business systems, databases, forms, and CRM tools.
Integrate third-party services and AI technologies, including LLM APIs, into applications and workflows to improve functionality and efficiency.
Test, debug, and enhance applications to ensure strong performance, reliability, security, and usability.
Collaborate with leadership, project managers, and external partners to define requirements, prioritize projects, and deliver solutions efficiently.
Document systems, processes, and technical decisions to create maintainable solutions and reduce dependency on individual contributors.
Establish development patterns and best practices that support long-term scalability and operational continuity.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate is a versatile full-stack engineer with experience building modern applications, integrating AI capabilities, and working independently in fast-moving environments. Strong technical skills, adaptability, and communication abilities are essential for success in this role.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Demonstrated experience delivering full-stack web and application projects using modern JavaScript frameworks, preferably React.
Strong front-end development skills with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and experience creating responsive user interfaces.
Experience using Airtable as an application backend, including linked records, automations, and interfaces.
Hands-on experience with workflow automation platforms such as n8n and/or Zapier.
Experience integrating third-party APIs and AI or LLM services into applications.
Familiarity with AI-powered development tools such as Claude Code, or willingness to adopt new AI engineering workflows.
Ability to work independently as a primary technical owner while maintaining strong documentation and project discipline.
Strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Benefits:
Competitive hourly compensation range of $60 - $80 per hour.
Fully remote, part-time engagement of approximately 20 to 25 hours per week.
