Client Engagement Executive

Key Appointments

Grow and retain the company's direct-to-consumer (D2C) client base through customer outreach.

Key Responsibilities

• Outbound sales: Call qualified leads and prospects to introduce the platform and key propositions; guide interested prospects through account opening and core journeys.
• Retention and client care: Contact inactive or at-risk clients to understand their needs, explain relevant platform features, incentives and support, and understand reasons for attrition.
• High net worth clients: Meet HNW clients and prospects in-person to walk through the platform and key propositions.

Key Decisions within the Role

• Decide which leads, prospects and at-risk clients to prioritise, and when and how to approach them, using the data and lead lists provided.
• Adapt the pitch and tone to the client's experience level and interests, choosing which platform features, services and approved marketing materials to communicate.
• Decide when a retention case needs to be escalated to a manager or the appropriate team.
• Identify recurring objections, attrition reasons and process gaps, and report them for improvement.

Requirements

Experience

• 3 to 5 years of experience in outbound sales, client relations or business development, ideally in wealth management, banking, fintech or insurance.
• Proven record of meeting sales conversion or retention targets.
• Preferred: experience serving HNW or private banking clients.

Skills and Knowledge

• Strong written and spoken English.
• Polished and credible presence for face-to-face meetings with senior and affluent clients.
• Good interpersonal skills and a customer-centric mindset.
• Able to explain financial concepts simply and accurately without straying into investment advice.
• Willing to complete all required regulatory and compliance training.

Education

• Academic: Degree or diploma in Business Administration, Management or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant experience.
