Role Summary:

The principal role of the Warehouse Specialist is to manage and secure the daily technical and process flow with in the warehouse. Act and provide as the on-demand support for all technical deviations around the processes in the warehouse.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Communicate/notify appropriate personnel of warehouse discrepancies
  • Follow up on system issues and solutions to resolve them
  • Leading new technical innovation relating to warehouse processes
  • Responsibility for all technical activities around inventory and warehouse processes, including local & global support to projects, new implementations, tools and systems
  • Working cross-functionally with sourcing, operations, IT and finance to identify improvement opportunities and implement successful changes
  • Technical support for the Logistics team in shipping and export systems
  • Create global scrapping list, manage the scraping process related to the regional warehouse, follow-up with all regional warehouses
  • Implementation of tools and dashboards for metric visibility and communication
  • Drive data analysis and business case development for key projects resulting in VCP savings for warehouse operations
  • Participating and supporting the overall strategy for the organization
  • Support standardization of warehouse processes globally
  • Global warehouse support, best knowledge sharing, actively engage in functional forum
  • Active participation in yearly Disaster Recovery testing in the ERP system

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • High School Diploma and significant operational logistics, import/export and/or customs experience

Solid experience of Oracle system (inventory/ warehouse user)

  • Solid communication and analytical skills, including experience with communicating with others from different counties and cultures
  • Ability to energize, develop and build rapport at all levels within the organization
  • Proven ability to execute, multi-task, and deliver on commitments
  • Experience working in a compliant supply chain

Desired Characteristics:

  • Undergraduate Degree/Bachelor Degree in Logistics, Materials or Supply Chain Management (or equivalent knowledge / experience)
  • Significant experience in operational environment of export operations, or order management of freight forwarder operations experience
  • Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional, global team environment
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
