About the Role
We are looking for a Platform Technical Program Manager to lead the planning and delivery of large-scale platform engineering initiatives. You will focus on platform capabilities, developer experience, and engineering enablement – partnering closely with product, engineering and architecture teams to ensure platform programs are delivered on time and adopted effectively across the organization.
Responsibilities
Lead planning, scoping, and execution of multi-quarter platform programs spanning developer tooling, API platforms, data platforms, and engineering enablement domains
Coordinate across platform engineering, product, security, architecture, and operations teams to resolve dependencies, eliminate blockers, and maintain delivery momentum
Partner with Product and Engineering teams to translate business goals into well-defined technical requirements, ensuring clarity of scope, feasibility, and alignment before programs enter execution
Proactively identify technical risks, capacity constraints, and architectural gaps — escalating to leadership with clear context and recommended paths forward
Prepare and deliver concise program status updates, milestone reviews, and investment briefings for VP and C-suite audiences
Define and evolve program operating rhythms — sprint ceremonies, roadmap reviews, architecture reviews, and release governance frameworks
Work with engineering and product stakeholders to drive awareness, onboarding, and adoption of platform capabilities across consuming teams and business units
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
6+ years in technical program or project management
Experience managing platform or developer tooling programs
Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent workstreams
Strong executive communication and stakeholder management skills
Preferred Qualifications
Masters Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
Background in software engineering or solutions architecture
Experience with API platforms, data platforms, or developer portals
PMP, SAFe, or equivalent program management certification
Exposure to compliance-driven delivery (SOC 2, ISO 27001)
