Principal

We are seeking an experienced and passionate fine dining server to join our team and provide exceptional service to our discerning clientele. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of food and wine, impeccable presentation skills, and a genuine passion for creating memorable dining experiences.

Key Responsibilities Deliver friendly, professional hospitality and help create a welcoming, high-energy event atmosphere for all guests.

Support Front of House and/or Back of House operations based on event needs and manager direction.

Assist with event setup, service, and breakdown, including tables, service stations, food stations, and equipment.

Accurately prepare, package, serve, or deliver food and beverages according to Fixins quality and presentation standards.

Maintain cleanliness, organization, and sanitation of guest areas, kitchen areas, and event workspaces throughout the event.

Communicate effectively with teammates and supervisors to ensure smooth, efficient event execution.

Respond to guest questions or requests promptly and courteously, escalating concerns when appropriate.

Follow all food safety, sanitation, health department, and company policies and procedures.

Assist with stocking supplies, organizing inventory, and replenishing products during events.

Represent the Fixins brand with professionalism, teamwork, and a positive attitude in every interaction.

Perform other duties as assigned to support successful event operations and uphold Fixins' service standards.

Operational Duties Load and unload catering vehicles, trailers, and equipment.

Safely transport food and equipment when assigned and authorized.

Complete opening and closing checklists.

Maintain inventory and report damaged or missing equipment.

Follow cash handling procedures if working point-of-sale.

Wear required uniform and maintain professional appearance.

Follow all safety procedures when using catering equipment, knives, hot holding equipment, and generators.

Qualifications Ideally 1-3 years of restaurant, catering, or event experience

Must be able to speak clearly and listen attentively to guests and other team members

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure

Positive attitude and a willingness to learn and grow

Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

High school diploma preferred

Must have or be willing to obtain Food Handler’s Card and Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) Certification if required by law (Certifications differ per state)

Work Environment & Physical Requirements Transporting and carrying objects (such as bus tubs, trays, trash cans, and food plates) up to 50 pounds.

Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (6–12 hours depending on the event).

Ability to safely move tables, chairs, coolers, catering equipment, and supplies.

Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Ability to bend, kneel, climb stairs, and perform repetitive tasks.

Exposure to hot surfaces, kitchen equipment, and potential allergens

Please note that all positions above are tipped positions. Hourly wage and daily tips will depend on position worked.
