Production Manager

• Develop and execute production strategies to achieve business objectives, ensuring optimal productivity, quality, cost efficiency, and on-time delivery.
• Lead and oversee all manufacturing operations, ensuring production targets are achieved while maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives through Lean Manufacturing, TPM, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and other operational excellence methodologies.
• Monitor and analyze key manufacturing KPIs including OEE, Yield, Productivity, Downtime, Scrap Rate, Cost per Unit, and Labor Efficiency, implementing corrective actions where necessary.
• Collaborate closely with Supply Chain, Planning, Quality Assurance, Engineering, Maintenance, Procurement, Warehouse, and R&D to ensure seamless production operations.
• Ensure compliance with all food safety, quality, environmental, and occupational health & safety standards, including GMP, HACCP, FSSC 22000, BRCGS, ISO 22000, and relevant regulatory requirements.
• Develop production budgets and effectively manage operating expenses to achieve financial targets.
• Lead capacity planning, workforce planning, and resource optimization to support current and future business growth.
• Identify production risks and implement preventive and corrective action plans to minimize operational disruptions.
• Lead new product introductions (NPI), production line expansions, and process optimization projects.
• Build a high-performance culture by coaching, mentoring, and developing Production Managers, Supervisors, and frontline employees.
• Prepare and present production performance reports, operational reviews, and strategic improvement plans to senior management.

Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Industrial Engineering, Food Engineering, Food Science, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Management, or a related field. Minimum 5–10 years of experience in manufacturing operations, with at least 2 years in a management role within the food manufacturing or FMCG industry. Proven experience managing large-scale manufacturing operations and leading cross-functional teams. In-depth understanding of food safety and quality management systems, including GMP, HACCP, ISO 22000, FSSC 22000, and BRCGS. Strong financial acumen with experience managing production costs, budgets, and capital investment projects. Excellent leadership, people management, coaching, and change management skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office and ERP systems (SAP experience is an advantage).
