Principal Systems Engineer - AI & Digital

Your tasks

Define and lead the AI strategy for engineering, aligned with business objectives, and set standards for responsible AI use, including human review, data security, and client confidentiality.

• Identify and pilot AI use cases, such as automated document generation, compliance review, and design calculations, and measure their impact.
• Work with IT and vendors to integrate AI tools into engineering workflows, and train engineers to use them effectively.

• Take technical ownership of telecom engineering packages through feasibility, concept, FEED, and detailed design, and approve system architecture and key design decisions.
• Interpret customer and authority requirements, clarify design certification with third parties, and review drawings, calculations, and deliverables.

• Oversee system integration, FAT, SAT, and commissioning, define testing and handover standards, and resolve complex technical issues.
• Lead and mentor telecom and junior engineers, and build team capability.

• Act as the senior technical contact for customers, EPC contractors, and vendors, and lead technical solutions for major proposals.
• Work with Project Managers on planning, delivery, and design changes, ensure compliance with quality and HSE standards, and report to management.
