Job Purpose:

  • Follow up on and execute all civil and architectural works on site.
  • Ensure that all works are carried out in accordance with the required schedule, quality standards, specified technical specifications, and the project's occupational health and safety standards.

Duties and Responsibilities: Review the shop drawings and discuss the execution details with the direct manager (Construction Manager / Senior Site Engineer) and agree on them.

Review the required schedule with the direct manager and agree on a schedule for managing the execution team (Site Supervisors – Subcontractors).

Review the required resources (manpower – raw materials – equipment) with the direct manager and agree on a plan for providing them until completion of the item.

Agree with the supervisors / supervisor responsible for executing each item on the execution method and the time required to complete the tasks / items.

Follow up on the execution of items with the supervisors and subcontractors to ensure and confirm that they are carried out as required.

Conduct an initial quantity takeoff at the site, coordinate with the direct manager to request materials, and calculate wastage quantities.

Record the production rates for the items executed directly.

Periodically monitor the recording and attendance of workers by the supervisors (daily – weekly – .......) for the approval of monthly payment certificates.

Coordinate with the Surveying Engineer / Surveyor to ensure that all items are executed according to the agreed coordinates and levels, in accordance with the approved shop drawings.

Coordinate with the Safety Supervisors to ensure that all works are carried out in accordance with occupational health and safety standards.

Coordinate with the direct manager and the Quality Officer regarding the completion of each item so that it can be handed over to and approved by the consultant on site.

Prepare a daily report covering all executed works, completion percentages, and production rates, and submit it to the direct manager.

Perform any other tasks assigned by the direct manager within the scope of the job and within the limits of their capabilities and resources.

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in civil or architectural engineering.

2–5 years of relevant site construction experience.

Good knowledge of construction methods, shop drawings, and technical specifications.

Ability to manage supervisors, subcontractors, materials, and site activities.

Knowledge of quantity takeoff, quality control, and HSE standards.

Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.

Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.
