As a Scrub Nurse (Orthopedic), you will be responsible for the following duties:

• Responsible for preparing patients for surgery, and administer pre-operative medications and assist the surgeon with pre-operative preparations.
• Oversee the patient's vital signs and assist the surgeon during the surgery. Responsible for maintaining a sterile field and ensuring the patient's safety.
• Monitor the patient's vital signs and provide post-operative care after the surgery. Educate the patient and their family on post-operative care matters.
• Educate patients on the risks and benefits of plastic surgery procedures, expected outcomes and recovery process. Provide important matters advice on wound care and other post-operative care.
• Maintain accurate medical records and charts, and any complications or concerns.
• Work closely with other members of the internal and external parties to ensure the patient's safety.

Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least a Diploma in Nursing
• Registered Nurse with Singapore Nursing Board
