Shipping Coordinator
Responsibilities Communication
Must possess strong written and oral communication abilities; responsible for communicating with frontline employees and giving direction where appropriate, interacting with managerial staff
Ability to work with people of diverse backgrounds, understand quality control concepts
Process Improvement
Should be detail-oriented problem-solvers with critical thinking and time management skills and can work effectively both independently and in teams
Utilization of tools designed to help track rejects, out of stocks, and inventory tracking of DMW&H and OSR
Operational Excellence
Should be familiar with night shipping operations, including tower picking, automated storage and retrieval, waving and sortation systems and loading
Understands and can work adeptly within software interfaces for WMS, ASRS, WCS and case shipping systems
Can quickly identify shorted cases to reprint labels and locate alternate storage areas for lost inventory
Must have strong Microsoft office skills

Business acumen and understanding of customer and large sku base operations
Qualifications A relevant high school degree or equivalent
3-5 years of experience within a warehouse or distribution environment
Experience in automated warehouse preferred
Functional system understanding Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint
Ability to work non-traditional business hours including evenings, nights and weekends when required
Strong Communication skills – verbal, presentation, writing
