This is a broad role well suited to someone with specialist ecommerce experience in a specific channel such as email or SEO that is looking for a broader role.

Email marketing

Own the Klaviyo account end to end: strategy, build, send, and reporting

Rebuild and maintain modular, mobile-responsive email templates

Build and optimise automated flows including welcome, browse and cart abandonment, post-purchase, and win-back

Plan and execute a weekly campaign calendar aligned to seasonal moments and brand launches

Brand communications

Draft and send regular partner-facing updates to brands on the platform

Coordinate co-marketing activity with brand partners, including cross-promotions and joint campaigns

Collect assets, product information, and launch details from brand contacts

Maintain a consistent brand voice across every outbound touchpoint

SEO and content

Publish and optimise content on the site, applying on-page best practice

Research keywords and build content briefs against commercial priorities

Track rankings and organic traffic, and flag technical issues as they surface

Customer support

Respond to customer enquiries across email and social channels

Resolve order, delivery, and product questions, escalating to brands where needed

Feed recurring customer questions and objections back into email copy and site content

There is some flexibility to shape the role based on experience and preferences.

Ideal

Minimum 2 years hands-on email marketing or SEO experience (agency or in-house both fine)

Demonstrable working knowledge of email platforms and SEO tools.

Able to build and edit modular, mobile-responsive email templates without relying on flat image files or a designer

Comfortable working inside ecommerce platforms (products, collections, discount codes, basic troubleshooting). No development skills required

Strong written English to a publishable standard - you will be writing emails and blog posts that go out unedited

Portfolio or evidence of live work: examples of campaigns and flows you personally built, ideally with open, click, or revenue figures attached

Proven ability to work autonomously and asynchronously with a founder in a different timezone, managing your own priorities without daily supervision

Ideally 4 hours daily overlap with Western European (UK) time

Reliable high-speed internet and a suitable work-from-home setup

Advantageous

Working knowledge of SEO fundamentals: keyword research, on-page optimisation, content briefs

Experience with a multi-brand marketplace or a catalogue of 100+ products

Familiarity with Google Analytics 4, Google Search Console, or Screaming Frog

Background in sustainability, wellness, beauty, or home and cleaning categories

Experience using AI tools to speed up content production and research

Customer support or community management experience

Note on education: A degree is not required. We will weight a portfolio of live campaign work above formal qualifications.
