Required Knowledge and Experience Education/Professional Qualifications required for the position: Bachelor (minimum) Degree in Engineering, IT or related field (Ideal, but not compulsory) 5 years of experience in the heavy equipment industry in IT, telematics or aftermarket area. We are looking for an engaged Product Specialist to design and detail the business requirements of the new SOM tool, translating business requirements into technically feasible IT solutions to ensure optimal process/system integration and data consistency.

You will be part of the related development projects where you define business needs through a solid relation with in-field people from Volvo CE’s regional departments, dealers and end-customers. You will follow the developments and ensure business acceptance testing through your own testing and through organizing pilots. You will support the roll out of the product in the different regions globally. You must achieve results both through your own initiatives and through influencing the wider Volvo CE organization.

You will become a member of the Proactive Services team. The position is based either in Eskilstuna, Sweden or Brussels, Belgium.

Main Responsibilities / Authorities Gather and analyze key information through market analysis, data analysis, voice of customer, dealer and regions interaction and benchmarks Align product features with defined business processes Challenge higher level strategy in business and system solutions Secure that product change(s) are listed and evaluated through solid business requirements Collaboration with the Product Manager to prioritize the resulting developments and enhancements Represent product ownership in development and implementation projects, secure that all necessary business requirements are included, support with business knowledge, support test setups, perform end-to-end business acceptance testing Ensure market feedback throughout the development lifecycle via mockups, pilots and roll-out activities Ensure together with the Technology, Volvo Group Connected Solutions and IT units and other internal and external suppliers that the product is developed according to the set objectives. Collaborate with Global Competence Development team for product training activities towards the regions and dealers/customers when relevant. Track and identify potential issues together with support staff, and take action(s) to solve them. Keep an efficient communication with the relevant entities across Volvo CE organization.
