We are a provincially funded, non-profit organization that provides 24/7 care. Villa Saint-Joseph has a strong interprofessional team and a new facility (opened in 2015) which allows us to promote a safe, clean, home-like environment for our Resident and care partners.Responsibilities:The primary purpose of this position is to serve Residents by attending to their personal care needs throughout the day and night. This includes assisting Residents at meals and with a variety of daily living activities and simple pleasures according to individual needs, interests and desires. The incumbent acts to foster a home-like environment for Residents living at the Villa. All responsibilities are to be approached in a spirit of teamwork, within and among departments, to ensure cooperation and completion in an efficient manner. The underlying responsibility is the care and safety of each Resident and ensuring their physical, emotional and spiritual needs are met.
