Main Responsibilities
- Demand Planning & Scheduling
Support material and demand planning Schedule and manage procurement orders based on demand and disposition
- Purchase Order Execution
Process requisitions into accurate, timely purchase orders Monitor purchase orders and follow up on confirmations, dispatch, and delivery Verify and process order confirmations and delivery notes Call off global contracts and framework agreements
- Supplier & Claims Management
Serve as the main contact for supplier queries and communication Handle supplier complaints, claims and escalation Maintain supplier master data including contact persons, language variants and local input
- Inventory & Material Management
Monitor inventory levels and coordinate replenishment activities Manage processes for material orders and extended workbench
- Process Improvement & Collaboration
Work with strategic procurement colleagues to implement P2P initiatives Support process efficiency, volume consolidation and transaction cost reduction for the Area Europe Collaborate with global Procurement, the Area Team Europe and other stakeholders to ensure smooth P2P execution
Business, technical or commercial degree; procurement diploma or equivalent experience Min. 1-3 years’ operational procurement experience in a professional organization Proficiency with SAP or equivalent ERP systems Knowledge of P2P processes, order management and procurement technology Understanding of international trade regulations, customs procedures and import/export documentation would be an advantage Strong collaborative skills and positive attitude Ability to build relationships and networks across functions and leadership levels Detail-oriented, proactive and solution-driven combined with hands-on mentality Strong communication skills in English—oral and written—across multiple audiences including suppliers, internal teams and management; German is a plus
