Experience

4–8 years of relevant experience in Temenos T24/Transact development, with hands-on experience in R26 or recent Transact releases.

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Temenos T24/Transact R26 Developer responsible for designing, developing, customizing, testing, and maintaining T24 banking applications.

The candidate should have strong hands-on experience in T24 development, InfoBasic, TAFJ/TAFC, OFS, VERSION, ENQUIRY, EB.API, routines, interfaces, and integrations . The role will involve working closely with business analysts, functional consultants, testers, and technical teams to deliver high-quality T24 solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and customize Temenos T24/Transact R26 applications based on business and functional requirements.
• Analyze requirements and prepare technical solutions and development approaches.
• Develop and maintain T24 routines, VERSION, ENQUIRY, EB.API, and other application components .
• Develop and customize InfoBasic programs and T24 application routines.
• Work on TAFJ/TAFC development and related application components.
• Develop and support OFS-based and API-based interfaces .
• Design, develop, and troubleshoot T24 interfaces and external system integrations .
• Perform technical impact analysis for enhancements and change requests.
• Develop reusable and maintainable solutions following T24 development standards.
• Perform unit testing, integration testing, defect fixing, and support SIT/UAT activities.
• Analyze and resolve technical issues identified during development, testing, and production.
• Support deployment and release activities across different environments.
• Participate in T24 R26 upgrades, migration, enhancements, and implementation projects .
• Prepare technical specifications, development documentation, test cases, and deployment documents.
• Coordinate with functional teams, business users, testers, and infrastructure teams.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure development quality and standards.
• Provide technical guidance and support to junior developers.

Required Technical Skills

Strong hands-on experience in Temenos T24/Transact .

Hands-on development experience in T24 R26 or recent Transact releases.

• Experience working with Unix/Linux environments.
• Understanding of source-code management and deployment processes.

Functional / Banking Domain Knowledge

Experience in one or more of the following T24 modules is preferred:

• Analyze production issues and provide fixes where required.
• Support regression testing for application enhancements.
• Ensure developed solutions meet functional and technical requirements.

• Temenos certification is an advantage.
• Experience working with international banking clients.
• Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Experience with Git, Jenkins, OpenShift , or similar DevOps tools.
• Exposure to middleware/application servers such as JBoss or WebLogic .
• Experience with CI/CD and automated deployment processes.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.

Role Expectations

The successful candidate should be able to independently handle T24 development activities from requirement analysis through design, development, testing, deployment, and production support . The candidate should have strong hands-on technical expertise in T24 R26, InfoBasic, TAFJ/TAFC, OFS, interfaces, APIs, and core T24 development components .
