*Job Summary* We are seeking a talented and passionate Indian Tandoor Chef to lead our kitchen team in delivering exceptional culinary experiences. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in food production and preparation, with proven supervisory and team management skills. As a Chef, you will be responsible for maintaining high standards of food safety and quality while fostering a positive and collaborative kitchen environment.

*Responsibilities*

• Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficient food production and preparation.
• Supervise and train kitchen staff, promoting teamwork and professional development.
• Develop and implement menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and customer preferences.
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen.
• Monitor inventory levels, placing orders as necessary to ensure the availability of ingredients.
• Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Maintain high standards of presentation for all dishes served.
• Handle any customer feedback or complaints with professionalism and care.

*Qualifications*

• Proven experience in a culinary role, preferably within a restaurant setting.
• Strong leadership skills with experience in supervising and managing a team.
• Extensive knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods.
• Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices.
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• A passion for hospitality and delivering outstanding customer service.
• Previous experience in menu planning and development is advantageous.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.64-$20.00 per hour
