Manufacturing Engineer (Precision Engineering)

Responsibilities  Interpret mechanical engineering drawings to plan fabrication workflows, select standard components, and generate Process Route Cards / Job Travellers.  Oversee and optimize machining and metal fabrication processes to manufacture complex precision parts.  Analyze process yields, production rates, and operational efficiency to propose capability improvements and cost-reduction strategies.  Lead cross-functional activities to investigate manufacturing issues and implement corrective actions.  Participate in New Product Introduction (NPI), manufacturing reviews, production transitions, and standard work updates.  Ensure all process enhancements uphold strict quality standards while increasing production throughput. 

Requirements  Diploma or Degree in Precision Machining, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.  Minimum 3 years of experience in a precision engineering environment.  Familiarity with machining (milling, turning, grinding) and fabrication processes (sheet metal work, welding, surface treatment).  Proficiency in CAD/CAM software such as SolidWorks, MasterCAM, or HyperMill.  Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities applied to manufacturing processes.  Disciplined, systematic approach to tasks with proficiency in basic computer software.
