Drafter

Job Summary

The Drafter is responsible for preparing detailed shop drawings and technicalplans for HVAC ducting systems in construction projects. This role ensuresaccuracy, compliance with project specifications, and coordination withengineers, contractors, and other trades.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed shop drawings for ducting systems based on projectspecifications, tender drawings, and engineering designs
• Produce layout drawings, sections, and installation details using AutoCAD, Revit,or other drafting software
• Coordinate drawings with other building services (MEP), architectural, andstructural layouts
• Revise drawings according to client comments, consultant feedback, and siteconditions
• Generate as-built drawings upon project completion
• Assist in quantity take-off (QTO) and material estimation for ductworkfabrication and installation
• Ensure drawings comply with local codes, standards, and project requirements
• Liaise with project engineers, site supervisors, and subcontractors to resolvetechnical issues
• Maintain proper documentation and version control of all drawings
• Support project teams with technical drafting and design updates
