Estimation Engineer – Civil & Architectural
Job Purpose: Prepare accurate civil and architectural estimates, quantity take-offs, BOQs, and tender pricing for construction projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review architectural, structural, and civil drawings and specifications.
- Prepare detailed quantity take-offs and BOQs.
- Prepare material, labor, equipment, and subcontractor cost estimates.
- Analyze project specifications and scope of work.
- Obtain and evaluate supplier/subcontractor quotations.
- Prepare tender pricing and cost breakdowns.
- Coordinate with Design, Procurement, Commercial, and MEP teams.
- Identify scope gaps, discrepancies, exclusions, and commercial risks.
- Support tender submissions and clarification processes.
- Maintain cost databases and historical project rates.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
- 5–7 years of construction estimation experience.
- Strong knowledge of civil and architectural works.
- Excellent quantity take-off and BOQ preparation skills.
- Good understanding of construction materials and methodologies.
- Strong Excel and AutoCAD skills.
- Experience with estimation software is an advantage.
- Good analytical and communication skills.
- Strong knowledge with Estimation techniques.
