Cecconi's Waiter/Waitress - Soho House Istanbul

We are looking for a “Waiter with the qualifications below:

Qualifications:

Ability to work well under the pressure of coordinating many requests at any given time

Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays if necessary

Knowledge of POS device

Service knowledge

Spoken and written fluency in English

Job Description:

Inform guests about the special items for the day and menu changes if any

Suggest food and beverages to the guests and also try to up-sell

Take food and beverage orders from the guests on the order taking pads

Making sure that the order is correct by repeating them to the guests

Entering the food and beverage in our Micros System

Mise-en-Place / adhering to the duties check-lists

Performing basic cleaning tasks as needed or directed by supervisor/manager

Filling in for absent staff as needed

Communicate to the guests and provide assistance with their queries

Coordinate with different departments (i.e. bar/kitchen etc.) to ensure smooth operation and guests satisfaction

Promptly respond to the guests with any additional requests

Adhere to grooming and appearance standards consistently

Is aware of allergy procedure

Is familiar with all tasting-notes from all menu items (food and beverage)

Help other areas of the restaurant when needed

Is familiar with the waiter-cashing out procedure

Making sure that a proper handover has been done before leaving the shift
