Duties to include
- Welcome guests in a friendly, professional, and approachable manner.
- Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently.
- Prepare and serve pints, cocktails, wines, spirits, soft drinks, and food to a high standard.
- Deliver food and beverages promptly while ensuring an excellent customer experience.
- Maintain excellent product knowledge to confidently recommend drinks, menu items, and promotions.
- Assist guests with menu recommendations and answer any queries.
- Handle customer requests, feedback, and complaints professionally and efficiently.
- Operate tills and process cash and card payments accurately.
- Ensure the bar is fully stocked and prepared throughout service.
- Monitor stock levels and report shortages to management.
- Clear, clean, and reset tables to maintain a welcoming dining environment.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and hygienic bar, restaurant, and back-of-house areas.
- Assist with opening and closing duties, including setup and shutdown procedures.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver smooth and efficient service during busy periods.
- Follow all health & safety, food hygiene, licensing, and responsible alcohol service regulations.
- Support the wider team with general duties to ensure an outstanding guest experience at all times.
What you'll bring
- Previous experience working in a bar, pub, restaurant, hotel, or hospitality venue.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
