instrumentation and control technician
Education:
College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years. or equivalent experience.
Tasks:
- Inspect operation of instruments and systems.
- Read blueprints to determine work requirements .
- Repair and adjust system components.
- Complete test and maintenance reports.
- Remove and replace defective parts.
- Calibrate components and instruments.
- Logical approach for troubleshooting.
- Determine testing and maintenance procedures.
- Install new measuring instruments.
- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance work.
