Civil & Structural Engineer (Infrastructure)
About the Role
We are looking for a hands-on Civil & Structural(C&S) Engineer to support our infrastructure projects in Singapore.
The role will focus mainly on civil and structural siteworks, infrastructure coordination and technical support . We are looking for candidates with infrastructure experience rather than experience limited mainly to commercial or residential building projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support for civil and structural works on site.
- Coordinate C&S works with project teams, consultants, clients, subcontractors and other engineering disciplines.
- Review construction drawings, technical specifications and method statements.
- Monitor site works to ensure they are carried out according to approved drawings, specifications and project requirements.
- Conduct site inspections and assist in resolving technical and coordination issues.
- Coordinate civil infrastructure works such as utilities, drainage, roadworks, underground services and associated works , where applicable.
- Prepare and maintain relevant site documentation, inspection records and progress updates.
- Ensure works comply with relevant Singapore authority and safety requirements.
- Support testing, inspection, handover and project completion activities.
- Support occasional weekend site activities when required by the project.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering or a related discipline.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant C&S / civil infrastructure experience .
- Experience in infrastructure, utilities, roadworks, drainage, underground services or public infrastructure projects will be an advantage.
- Candidates with Singapore project experience and familiarity with LTA, PUB or other local authority requirements will have an advantage.
- Able to read and understand civil/structural drawings and technical specifications.
- Basic AutoCAD knowledge will be an advantage.
- Good communication, coordination and problem-solving skills.
- Able to work independently and as part of a project/site team.
- Willing to support occasional weekend work when project requirements arise.
