Full time Master, PhD Eindhoven

At Sioux Technologies, cybersecurity is rapidly becoming a core engineering discipline. Rather than treating security as an afterthought, we help our customers design cyber-resilient products from the earliest system concepts onward. In this role you are responsible for designing secure, resilient high-tech systems that comply with the latest European cybersecurity legislation and international security standards, such as CRA, Machine Regulation, NIS2 and IEC 62443.

You work on complex multidisciplinary products in the semiconductor, medical, analytical instrumentation and industrial automation domains, where software, electronics, mechanics and mechatronics come together.

What excites you as a System Security Architect - High-Tech Systems?

From any Sioux office in the Netherlands, you work closely with system architects, software architects, electronics engineers, mechatronics designers and cybersecurity specialists, you ensure that cybersecurity becomes an integral part of system design from concept through validation and product lifecycle.

You enjoy:

  • Defining secure system architectures for complex high-tech equipment.
  • Translating the Cyber Resilience Act, IEC 62443 and other related regulations and standards into practical system requirements.
  • Performing system-level cybersecurity risk analyses and leading Threat Analysis & Risk Assessment (TARA) and threat modelling workshops.
  • Allocating security requirements across software, electronics, mechanics and infrastructure.
  • Designing secure operational concepts, maintenance strategies and software update mechanisms.
