Job Description At KAI GmbH, we are focused on developing cutting-edge computer vision applications. These solutions are designed to bring automation and digitalization to essential processes in semiconductor development, enhancing precision, streamlining issue detection, and significantly improving the efficiency of workflows. Our current efforts include establishing standardized processes for integrating, testing, and deploying pipelines that power our computer vision systems. As a CI Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth integration of tools, frameworks, and workflows that support the development and deployment of our computer vision applications. Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with computer vision experts to discuss and evaluate platform architectures and workflows
  • Develop and maintain robust pipelines for the integration and deployment of computer vision models and applications
  • Optimize and maintain scripts for automating tasks related to computer vision data preprocessing, model training, and deployment
  • Research and evaluate potential frameworks, tools, and libraries to enhance the perfomance and efficiency of computer vision pipelines
  • Provide direct technical support and collaborate with in-house stakeholders to address challenges and gather feedback
  • Document codebases, pipeline workflows, and integration processes in a clear, organized manner

Your Profile You have completed a HTL education or you pursue an academic degree in the area of Technical Informatics/Computer Engineering/Electronic Engineering with a strong ambition for highly performant software systems. With your hands-on mentality you like to bring ideas to life. You can also offer:

  • Experience working with Linux systems and command-line tools
  • Proficiency in a JVM-based language (e.g., Java, Kotlin, Groovy) with a solid understanding of object-oriented programming and design patterns
  • Experience with build automation tools such as Gradle or Maven
  • Understanding of software engineering best practices, including version control (e.g., Git), code style guides, and structured team workflows
