What you'll be doing Leading user research across discovery, alpha, beta and live phases.

Planning and conducting interviews, usability testing, contextual research and workshops.

Working closely with multidisciplinary teams to shape products and services.

Synthesising research findings into clear insights and recommendations.

Helping teams understand the needs, behaviours and priorities of users.

Supporting service design, product and delivery decisions through evidence.

Engaging with client stakeholders and building trusted relationships.

Contributing to bids and proposals where user-centred design expertise is required.

Supporting the continued growth of Scott Logic's User-Centred Design capability.

Helping develop reusable approaches, patterns and delivery assets that strengthen future projects.

Essential experience Significant experience delivering user research within complex digital or service transformation programmes.

Experience working as part of multidisciplinary teams.

Strong understanding of Government Digital Service principles, service standards and user-centred design practices.

Experience planning and delivering a range of qualitative research activities.

Strong analysis and synthesis skills, with the ability to turn findings into actionable recommendations.

Excellent communication and facilitation skills.

Experience working with a broad range of stakeholders, including senior decision makers.

Ability to communicate research findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Experience working within large organisations or complex service environments.

A strong understanding of accessibility, inclusion and designing for diverse user needs.
