This is not a narrow or repetitive role. The team advises a diverse client base on matters ranging from day-to-day commercial property transactions through to significant acquisitions, disposals, development projects and complex strategic transactions. You will work with clients from the outset of a matter through to completion, developing both your technical expertise and commercial understanding. Your work is likely to include: Commercial acquisitions and disposals Freehold and leasehold transactions Commercial and residential development projects Commercial leases Landlord and tenant matters Property investment Reorganisations Banking, lending and security Options and overage arrangements Practical and commercially focused property advice You will manage your own caseload with support from experienced colleagues. The firm encourages lawyers to take responsibility and build confidence, while ensuring support is available when needed. There will also be opportunities to work collaboratively with colleagues across the wider firm, giving you exposure to a broad range of clients and a greater understanding of the commercial objectives behind the work. The client base includes owner-managed businesses, developers, investors, high-net-worth individuals, charities, larger organisations and financial institutions. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to move beyond simply processing transactions and become a trusted adviser to their clients. You You will ideally be a qualified Solicitor with 2+ years PQE in Commercial Property and a strong foundation in the area, alongside the ambition to continue developing. You will enjoy working closely with clients, taking ownership of your matters and finding practical solutions to commercial problems. You are likely to have: At least 2 years' PQE in Commercial Property Experience handling a varied commercial property caseload Strong technical knowledge and a desire to continue developing Excellent communication and client relationship skills A commercial and pragmatic approach to legal advice The ability to explain complex issues clearly and in plain English Strong initiative and problem-solving ability Excellent organisational and time management skills A keen eye for detail while maintaining efficiency The ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines A collaborative and team-focused approach Ambition and a genuine desire to progress your career The right person will be proactive, commercially aware and excited by the opportunity to develop within a successful and supportive team.
