*Role Summary*

Reporting to the Production Supervisor, the Material Handler is responsible for the safe and efficient movement of materials, components, and finished products throughout the facility. This role supports production operations by ensuring materials are available when needed, completed products are moved promptly, and shipping and receiving activities are completed safely and accurately. The successful candidate is proactive, works independently, and takes ownership of material flow throughout the plant.

*Key Responsibilities*

• Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently using forklifts and other approved material-handling equipment.
• Move raw materials, work-in-progress inventory, and finished products throughout the facility to support production requirements.
• Monitor production areas and proactively move materials and completed products without requiring direct instruction.
• Ensure production teams have the materials, parts, and supplies needed to maintain workflow.
• Perform material transfers, staging, and storage activities in designated locations.
• Verify incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy and report any discrepancies.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material-handling equipment safely and in accordance with company procedures.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe storage, staging, and work areas.
• Follow all safety, quality, and material-handling procedures.
• Support production and operational priorities as required.

*Qualifications and Skills*

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1-3 years of experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, material-handling, shipping/receiving, or production environment preferred.
• Valid forklift certification required.
• Experience loading and unloading trucks and safely transporting materials.
• Strong awareness of production flow and the ability to identify when materials or finished products need to be moved.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and safety practices.
• Ability to lift materials up to 50 lbs and perform frequent walking, standing, and material handling activities.
• Reliable attendance and commitment to teamwork.

*Work Environment*

• Manufacturing setting with regular standing, lifting (up to 50 lbs), repetitive work, and material handling;
• Use of personal protective equipment required;
• Work Location: In person; and
• Occasional overtime may be required to support production schedules.

Pay: $22.00-$25.00 per hour
