The HR Manager - Compliance will ensure that the company adheres to legal standards and in-house policies. This role is responsible for assuring regulations and laws are implemented within policies, procedures and standards; leading education and training of regulations; and providing counsel on regulatory matters. You will oversee the administration and implementation of the Corporate Compliance program, EEO initiatives, and international immigration, while following established protocols and regulatory compliance. Critical for success will be the ability to embody the corporate culture in all interactions and demonstrate professionalism and excellence in customer service.

What it takes:

Bachelor’s degree in related field, preference to HR, 7-10 years benefit administration and/or HR experience, or equivalent combination

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

High level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations

Must possess a valid driver license for the type(s) of vehicles which may be driven and an acceptable driving record as determined by the DOT Operations Director and Michels Legal Department

Able to attract, develop and retain talent

PHR/SPHR/SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP Certification (desired)

Strong communication skills. Must present a professional, positive image at all times (desired)

Experience in self-funded insurance administration (desired)
