Assistant Supervisor – Technical Production

Job Overview

1. Support the Supervisor in managing daily operations of the Forming section and supervising production line operators
2. Control and monitor production performance (output, yield, cost, and delivery) to ensure alignment with production plans
3. Enforce safety standards, including PPE, 5S, and safety audits, and drive continuous safety improvements
4. Monitor production performance across all shifts (morning, afternoon, night) and report results to the Supervisor
5. Develop team capabilities through skill matrix management and coordination of training programs
6. Plan and assign manpower on the production line, including monitoring and controlling overtime usage
7. Ensure product quality by enforcing compliance with Work Instructions (WI) and control plans
8. Record and report production data accurately, including equipment breakdowns and spare parts usage
9. Follow up and close Non-Conformance (NC) issues and support process improvement initiatives
10. Participate in New Product Introduction (NPI) and support installation and commissioning of new equipment

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Ceramic or a related field At least 3 years of experience in production operations and workforce supervision Hands-on experience in machine operation, control, and maintenance Basic computer literacy for data recording and daily reporting (Excel, Word) Basic knowledge of 5S, safety standards, and quality control practices in manufacturing
