Senior Architect Engineer - Metro Stations

We are seeking a highly experienced Sr. Architect Engineer to lead architectural design and execution for metro station projects in Abu Dhabi. This role demands a visionary professional with a deep understanding of railway construction, committed to delivering innovative, functional, and sustainable transit environments.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the architectural design and development of metro station projects, ensuring compliance with technical standards and client requirements.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including engineers, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
• Oversee project lifecycle from conceptual design through construction and commissioning phases.
• Conduct site inspections to ensure design adherence, quality standards, and safety regulations.
• Prepare detailed architectural drawings, specifications, and documentation for construction and permits.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior architects and engineers.
• Stay updated on the latest architectural trends, construction technologies, and regulatory changes in the railway sector.
• Coordinate with government authorities and regulatory bodies for approvals and compliance.
• Manage project schedules, budgets, and resources efficiently to meet delivery timelines.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture or Civil Engineering with a focus on architecture.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in architectural design, preferably within the railway or metro station sector.
• Proven track record of managing large-scale infrastructure projects in construction and design.
• Strong knowledge of UAE building codes, railway industry standards, and sustainability practices.
• Proficiency in architectural software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and BIM technologies.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic is advantageous.
• Willingness to relocate to Abu Dhabi and work on-site as required.
