Accountabilities: The Vice President of Finance will serve as a strategic business partner and financial leader, responsible for driving financial performance, strengthening operational processes, and providing executive-level guidance across the organization. Key responsibilities include:

Partner with executive leadership to define and execute long-term financial strategies aligned with business objectives and growth plans.

Lead all finance operations, including accounting, financial planning and analysis, budgeting, forecasting, treasury, payroll, tax, compliance, and reporting.

Provide financial insights, recommendations, and modeling to support investments, partnerships, expansion initiatives, and strategic decision-making.

Oversee the preparation and presentation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, executive reports, and board-level financial materials.

Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP, regulatory requirements, tax obligations, and internal financial policies.

Manage cash flow planning, liquidity strategies, capital allocation, and working capital optimization.

Lead annual budgeting processes and establish financial KPIs to measure business performance and operational efficiency.

Develop and maintain strong internal controls, governance frameworks, and risk management practices.

Manage relationships with financial institutions, auditors, tax advisors, legal partners, insurance providers, and other external stakeholders.

Support pricing strategies, contract reviews, customer agreements, and vendor negotiations through financial analysis.

Lead financial due diligence activities related to mergers, acquisitions, investments, and strategic partnerships.

Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance financial processes, reporting accuracy, and operational scalability.

Oversee financial planning across domestic and international operations, including multi-entity and multi-currency consolidations.

Build, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance team while fostering a culture of accountability and collaboration.

Monitor market trends, identify financial opportunities, and proactively address business risks.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate is an experienced finance executive with strong strategic thinking, operational expertise, and the ability to lead financial transformation in a growing technology-focused organization. Required qualifications include:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

12–15+ years of progressive finance leadership experience.

At least 5 years of experience in a Vice President of Finance, Controller, CFO, or equivalent executive-level role.

Strong expertise in U.S. GAAP, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, compliance, and corporate finance.

Proven experience leading audits, managing banking relationships, and overseeing financial controls.

Experience managing multi-entity and international financial operations, including consolidation processes.

Advanced financial modeling, forecasting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Strong executive presence with excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management abilities.

Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and financial management systems.

Strategic leadership mindset combined with a hands-on approach to execution.

Ability to translate complex financial data into actionable business recommendations.

Strong relationship-building, negotiation, and collaboration skills.

High integrity, sound judgment, and commitment to operational excellence.

Preferred qualifications include:

CPA certification or MBA.

Experience within healthcare technology, SaaS, medical imaging, or software organizations.

Knowledge of recurring revenue models, subscription-based businesses, and revenue recognition principles.

Experience supporting mergers and acquisitions, fundraising activities, or private equity-backed organizations.

Familiarity with QuickBooks or comparable ERP/accounting platforms.
