Accountabilities: As a Senior Commerce Architect, you will own the technical direction of Adobe Commerce initiatives, ensuring solutions are designed for scalability, security, performance, and long-term success. You will partner with clients, internal teams, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into effective commerce architectures while driving best practices across delivery teams.

Lead end-to-end Adobe Commerce architecture for enterprise projects, including solution design, technical documentation, data models, integration specifications, and architecture diagrams.

Define development standards, architectural patterns, and best practices while leading technical reviews and mentoring engineering teams.

Support pre-sales activities by leading technical discovery sessions, creating solution proposals, estimating project efforts, and presenting recommendations to senior client stakeholders.

Design and oversee integrations between commerce platforms and enterprise systems such as ERP, PIM, OMS, CRM, payment solutions, and customer experience platforms.

Advise clients on performance optimization, security strategies, scalability improvements, migrations, and total cost of ownership considerations.

Collaborate with content, data, and marketing technology teams to create unified digital experiences across commerce and customer engagement platforms.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate brings deep Adobe Commerce expertise, strong architecture experience, and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and executive audiences. You should have a proven track record designing large-scale commerce solutions and guiding enterprise clients through digital transformation initiatives.

7+ years of hands-on experience with Adobe Commerce (Magento), including at least 4 years in a Solution Architect or Lead Developer capacity.

Proven experience designing and delivering complex, enterprise-level eCommerce solutions.

Strong expertise in Adobe Commerce Cloud and on-premise implementations.

Experience supporting pre-sales, solution engineering, technical discovery, effort estimation, and proposal development.

Advanced knowledge of PHP, MySQL, Varnish, Redis, Adobe Commerce architecture, and modern development practices.

Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud infrastructure such as AWS or Azure.

Strong understanding of commerce ecosystem integrations, including ERP, PIM, OMS, CRM, and payment gateways.

Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to build trust with executive-level clients.

Experience with headless and composable commerce approaches, GraphQL, PWA Studio, or related modern commerce architectures is a plus.

Adobe Certified Master – Adobe Commerce Architect certification and experience with Adobe Experience Manager, Adobe Analytics, or Adobe Experience Platform are advantageous.
