Accountabilities: As a key legal partner to revenue-generating teams, you will support business growth by managing commercial agreements, improving contracting processes, and providing practical legal guidance throughout customer and partner engagements.

Partner with Sales, Business Development, and Services teams to accelerate revenue operations and establish efficient contracting practices.

Act as a subject matter expert for complex commercial transactions, including direct sales agreements, reseller partnerships, software licensing, and services engagements.

Draft, review, and negotiate SaaS agreements, partner agreements, maintenance agreements, RFP responses, and other commercial legal documents.

Support deal execution by identifying risks, proposing solutions, and helping internal teams achieve business objectives.

Collaborate with internal legal stakeholders and external counsel to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations across multiple jurisdictions.

Provide legal support for strategic initiatives, including compliance projects, corporate matters, and other business priorities.

Build strong relationships with cross-functional teams by delivering practical, business-focused legal advice.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate is a commercially minded attorney with experience supporting technology businesses and negotiating complex agreements. You should be comfortable balancing legal considerations with business goals while working collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an ABA-accredited U.S. law school.

Active membership in good standing with a U.S. State Bar.

Minimum of 2 years of relevant legal experience, including hands-on experience with SaaS enterprise agreements, direct sales contracts, partner agreements, or services agreements.

Strong interest and ability in complex deal negotiation, with a focus on creating win-win outcomes.

Experience working directly with sales teams, customers, and business stakeholders.

Ability to quickly assess priorities, manage multiple transactions, and drive agreements toward completion.

Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills with a business-first mindset.

Preferred experience with government technology contracting, including cooperative purchasing vehicles such as GSA, SEWP, NASPO, or TX-DIR.

Preferred familiarity with software revenue recognition principles, privacy compliance, government relations, or professional services agreements.

Competitive base salary range of $145,000–$165,000 annually , depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications.
