Lorry Driver

Job Summary

You will ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods to the correct destinations while maintaining vehicle condition and safety compliance. You will handle company and customer goods carefully and communicate effectively with supervisors to resolve issues.

Responsibilities

• Deliver goods promptly to the correct destinations following assigned schedules to ensure operational efficiency
• Handle loading, unloading, and delivery of items safely to prevent damage, loss, or deterioration
• Verify and prepare all necessary documents such as import/export permits and Delivery Orders for each job
• Conduct daily vehicle inspections to monitor condition and ensure compliance with inspection dates
• Maintain assigned vehicle in original condition without unauthorized modifications or decorations
• Follow all traffic and PSA rules strictly to prevent accidents and claims
• Report any operational issues or vehicle problems promptly to the Traffic Controller or Head of Department
• Demonstrate honesty by using company property solely for work purposes
• Maintain a professional image through appropriate attire and personal hygiene, including wearing standard PPE and avoiding slippers, shorts, or sleeveless tops
• Follow instructions, avoid insubordination, and cooperate with team members while reporting to work punctually

Required competencies and certifications

• Possess a valid Class 4 Driving License
• Singaporean / PR

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Experience in processing PSA KD documentation

Other Information

Working Hours:

5.5-day work week with overtime expected per MOM guidelines Monday to Friday: 08:30hrs – 17:30hrs Saturday: 08:30hrs – 12:30hrs
