*Underground Heavy Equipment Operator ? Civil Construction* *Location:* Kelowna, BC and surrounding areas *Company:* Fredex Construction
Fredex Construction is currently seeking a skilled and experienced *Heavy Equipment Operator* for civil construction projects in the Kelowna area.
*Position Requirements:*
- Minimum *5 years* of heavy equipment operating experience in civil construction
- Must reside in or near *Kelowna, BC*
- Must hold a *valid Class 5 BC Driver?s License* in good standing (driver?s abstract will be requested)
- Background check will be requested if hired
- Additional licenses or certifications are considered an asset
*Key Responsibilities:*
- Operate a range of heavy equipment including:
- John Deere excavators
- Loaders
- Bulldozers
- Skid steers (Bobcat)
- Lead and execute site work activities with minimal supervision
- Accurately complete required documentation and paperwork
- Perform daily inspections and basic maintenance of equipment to ensure safe and reliable operation
- Work safely around *underground and overhead utilities* in accordance with all regulations and company protocols

- First Aid
- Ground Disturbance
- CSTS (Construction Safety Training System)
- WHMIS
- Fire Extinguisher Training
- Respirator Fit Testing
- Any other relevant safety training
