Project Engineer

Job Summary

Construction project engineer preferably with experience in LTA projects. Require to have knowledge in Autocad, Microsoft Excel and drafting experience. Need to have strong people skills, project management and technical knowledge. To ensure projects are on schedule, planning of resources and management of site team. It is required to be at the construction site whenever onsite works are being carried out.

Responsibilities

• Apply knowledge of Autocad to create and review technical drawings for construction projects to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Use Microsoft Excel to track project progress, manage schedules, and analyze resource allocation for effective project delivery
• Perform drafting tasks to prepare detailed construction plans supporting project execution
• Lead and coordinate site teams to ensure timely completion of construction activities and adherence to safety standards
• Plan and allocate resources efficiently to maintain project schedules and meet deadlines
• Monitor onsite construction activities by being physically present to address issues and ensure quality control
• Utilize project management skills to oversee project timelines, budgets, and deliverables while mitigating risks
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders and team members to facilitate collaboration and resolve challenges

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Experience working on LTA (Land Transport Authority) projects, demonstrating familiarity with regulatory requirements and standards
