About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and client-focused Investment Consultant to provide investment guidance and financial solutions to clients. The successful candidate will be responsible for understanding clients' financial objectives, developing suitable investment strategies and building long-term client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Understand clients' financial goals, investment objectives and risk profiles.
- Provide information and guidance on suitable investment and financial products.
- Develop personalised investment strategies based on clients' needs and objectives.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with new and existing clients.
- Conduct client consultations, presentations and investment reviews.
- Monitor market developments, economic trends and investment opportunities.
- Review clients' portfolios and provide appropriate recommendations where required.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities through networking, referrals and client engagement.
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions and investment recommendations.
- Work closely with internal teams to support client onboarding and service delivery.
- Meet individual and team sales or business development targets.
- Ensure all client interactions and recommendations comply with company policies and applicable regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics or a related discipline.
- 1–5 years of experience in investment consulting, wealth management, financial advisory, banking or sales.
- Strong interest in investments and financial markets.
- Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
- Strong client relationship management and business development abilities.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Self-motivated, target-driven and comfortable working in a performance-oriented environment.
- Relevant financial services qualifications or certifications will be an advantage.
