Department: Facilities Management / Maintenance

Reports To: Operations Manager / Property Manager

  1. Job Summary

The Maintenance Manager is responsible for overseeing all technical, corrective, and preventive maintenance operations across the resort's. This role requires leading multi-disciplinary teams—including plumbers, electricians, painters, and pool technicians—to ensure all public amenities and private units are maintained to the highest standards.

  1. Key Responsibilities & Duties

Team Leadership & Operations Management Cross-Functional Supervision: Lead, mentor, and supervise in-house teams and contractors specializing in plumbing, electrical works, pool maintenance, painting, and basic civil works (masonry/plastering).

Workforce Planning: Assign daily tasks, schedule shifts, and ensure adequate coverage for emergency and routine maintenance requests.

Quality Control: Inspect completed work to ensure it meets safety standards, company guidelines, and aesthetic expectations.

Technical Oversight & Maintenance Scope Plumbing & Electrical: Oversee the diagnosis and repair of internal and external plumbing and electrical systems for both common areas and private residential units.

Swimming Pool Management: Ensure pool maintenance teams maintain proper chemical balance, cleanliness, filtration systems, and compliance with health and safety regulations.

General Repairs & Finishing: Manage minor civil works, including plastering, painting, woodwork repairs, and general handyman tasks.

Preventive Maintenance: Implement a proactive maintenance schedule for community facilities to minimize unexpected breakdowns

Resident Relations Complaint Resolution: Act as the primary escalation point for resident maintenance issues, ensuring complaints regarding plumbing, electricity, pools, or finishing are handled with a high level of customer service.

  1. Requirements & Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil) or a related technical field.

Experience: Minimum of 3 to 8 years of experience in facility management, hospitality, or residential compounds, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.

Technical Skills: Hands-on knowledge of MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) systems, pool filtration, and general building finishes.

Soft Skills: Strong leadership, problem-solving abilities, excellent communication and customer service skills, and crisis management.

Language: Proficiency in Arabic and English.
