• Coordinate and manage all import and export activities.
• Ensure compliance with international trade regulations.
• Prepare and review shipping documents.
• Coordinate with liner, forwarder, customer and customs brokers.
• Monitor shipments to ensure timely delivery.
• Resolve any issues that arise during the shipping process.
• Maintain accurate records of all import and export activities.
• Stay up-to-date with changes in trade regulations.
• Optimize supply chain processes to minimize delays and reduce costs.
• Communicate effectively with various departments and external partners.
• Negotiate shipping rates and contracts with carriers.
• Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to import and export activities.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve logistics efficiency.
• Ensure proper documentation and labeling of shipments.
• Provide support and guidance to other team members.
• Conduct regular audits of import and export processes.
• Assist in the development of logistics policies and procedures.
• Handle customer inquiries and provide excellent customer service.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, or a related field. Minimum of 3 years of experience in import/export coordination. Strong understanding of international trade regulations. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Experience with logistics software and systems. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong organizational and time management skills. Attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively. Problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically. Knowledge of customs procedures and documentation requirements. Experience in negotiating shipping rates and contracts. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data. Familiarity with supply chain management principles. Ability to travel as needed. Fluency in a second language is a plus. Certification in import/export or logistics is preferred. Strong customer service skills.
